Forked Lake Campground offers visitors a remote wilderness primitive camping experience in the Central Adirondacks, located between Blue Mountain Lake and Long Lake. The campsites are mostly accessible by either trail or by boat, with a few only accessible by boat. There are three campsites that can accommodate RVs up to 20 feet long. This campground is a boaters paradise. There are a total of 80 campsites available.

The campground is located at the end of Forked Lake Road, which is off North Point Road. North Point Road is located off NY 28N/NY 30 at a sharp curve north of Blue Mountain Lake on the way to Long Lake. Buttermilk Falls is located off the road on the way to the campground and is just a short walk from the road. It is the most visited waterfall in the Adirondacks. To get more info on this campground including reservations see the NY DEC Website.
