New York State Parks Coles Creek
|

Coles Creek State Park is located on Lake St Lawrence. The lake was created in the 1950's when the Robert Moses Dam was built. The dam on the St Lawrence River produces highly effective hydroelectric energy. The dam also created the 25 mile long Lake St Lawrence.
Coles Creek State Park opened in 1959 and offers 228 campsites. There are no formal hiking trails in the park, however the park is large enough to explore on foot along the park roads. The park is located off of NY 37. Find more information on this state park from the NY State Parks website. There are pictures below from this beautiful state park.
