Lands Run
Falls

This hike leads you down an old road to views of a nice waterfall.  The elevation loss is just over 300 feet for this short 0.6 hike to Lands Run Falls that begins at the Lands Run parking area located at milepost 9.2 on Skyline Drive.  The Dickey Ridge Trail is also accessed from the parking area.

Follow the old road all the way down to the falls.  The stream goes under the road through a culvert and the falls are on your right.  Lands Run Falls aren't high, nor can you see the entire falls from the trail; but this is a nice leg stretcher.  The rocks that lead out to a view point can be treacherous, so be cautious.  The old road continues on for another 1.4 miles to the park boundary, however you should turn around and return after visiting the falls.  There is nothing to see further down the road.
