The 3.5 mile Black River Trail is a paved trail found on the southern banks of the scenic Black River just east of the city of Watertown. The trail follows the path of the old New York Central Railroad. The trail travels between Beaver River and Watertown. It was recently announced that the trail will be extended one mile with construction starting in the summer or fall of 2015. This trail is on our to do list and will have more info including pictures and an updated map.
