This 9.0 mile loop hike features seasonal dirt roads and the Finger Lakes Trail/North Country Trail in Cuyler Hill State Forest. The hike has an elevation gain of 1100 feet. Look below for directions, a couple of pictures, description and map.
Directions: From Truxton, NY take NY 13 North and turn right just past the "Cuyler" sign, then another right onto Linklaen Rd. Turn right on Cuyler Hill Rd and then left on Stoney Brook Rd (Seasonal Dirt Road). In about a mile you will see where the Finger Lakes Trail/North Country Trail crosses the road (look for the white blazes). Park on the shoulder here. This is the trailhead. The GPS coordinates are N42 42.462 W75 54.657 if you have a GPS devise.

Mile Elevation Description 0.0 1891 ft Continue down the dirt Stoney Brook Rd.
0.25 1906 ft Turn right on the season dirt Cortland Six Rd (no signs).
2.5 1864 ft Cross the seasonal dirt Randall Hill Rd (no signs). Continue straight.
3.4 1798 ft Reach the white blazed Finger Lakes/North Country Trail crossing. Turn left onto trail and follow white blazes.
4.1 1632 ft Cross Jipson Hill Rd, continue on FLT/NCT and follow white blazes.
4.2 1682 ft Reach Potter Hill Cemetery Rd and turn right, following dirt road.
5.0 1798 ft Reach the white blazed Finger Lakes/North Country Trail crossing. Turn left onto trail and follow white blazes.
6.2 1689 ft Reach Wiltsey Glen. A great camping location if your doing an overnight hike.
6.4 1780 ft Cross the seasonal dirt Randall Hill Rd. Continue straight on FLT/NCT.
6.7 1942 ft Orange blazed trail on left leads 0.2 mile to Rose Hollow. Continue straight on FLT/NCT.
8.1 2080 ft Highest point on FLT/NCT in Cuyler Hill State Forest.
8.8 1850 ft Bench on right
9.0 1891 ft Arrive at Stoney Brook Rd and the end of this loop hike.
