Kring Point State Park is located on the St Lawrence River in the 1000 Island Region and features a pleasant 0.6 mile loop hike around Morgan Island.  This state park was established in 1898.  The park is on a narrow peninsula of land, with its south shore facing Goose Bay and its north shore facing the St Lawrence River.

The park has a picnic area as well as a beach area for swimming.  There are 100+ campsites, with nearly half the sites considered prime waterfront and virtually every site has a bay or river view.  You can pretty much see water no matter where you stand in this park. This is a great park for those who want to relax and watch the river.  Be sure to explore Morgan Island!

Kring Point State Park is located off of NY 12, east of the I-81 interchange.  Find more information on this state park from the NY State Parks website.  There are pictures below from this beautiful state park.  We've also included a trail map for Morgan Island, however you won't need it to explore the island.  It's hard to get lost on a small island.
